  1. Ives, have you ever done a Concacaf all star team lineup? I’d be interested to ponder how we’d fare against other confederations with our region’s best…

  2. If Canadians Will Johnson or Rob Friend ever decided to play in MLS would the team that drafted them (Fire) still have first dibs?

    Just wondering.

  3. Thanks for this update Ives. Please keep this update up. Let’s see if Nery Castillo comes on as a sub today for Man City. He is on the bench after coming back from his injury.

  4. Where can we fit Andy Dorman into these updates?

Even though I’m an RBNY fan, I really like Dorman. I think his was a great story and I was really sad to see him leave MLS (with his expiring contract, I held out hope that RBNY would sign him to fill their Attacking Midfielder void…too bad this didn’t happen, he would have been a perfect fit). He’s a quality player and it’s good to see him plying is trade closer to home.

I know he doesn’t fit into the Americans or CONCACAF Players Abroad category, but maybe we could see a “Former MLS-ers Abroad” update which could lump a lot of these players together. Don’t wanna heap too much work onto you, Ives, you do a fanastic job already.

  5. DeGuzman’s defection just happened so there are still some people who want to know how he is doing. Maybe five years ago that curiosity will have waned but for now the interest is there. The fact that his brother is national team captain for Canada is also a factor that ads to the curiosity.
