If you are a U.S. national team fan with plans of seeing the USA-Argentina friendly at Giants Stadium, and you weren’t one of the fortunate souls who took part in the VISA-sponsored pre-sale this weekend, get your phones and computers ready.

Tickets go on sale at noon today and if the pre-sale is any indication, tickets are going to go quickly. According to U.S. Soccer sources, more than 20,000 tickets have already been sold through the special pre-sale, which lasted less than a week.

The match, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on June 8, has tickets ranging from $35 to $195.

Tickets can be purchased on USSoccer.com or by phone at (201) 507-8900 (in New Jersey) or (212) 307-7171 (in New York).

  1. Well I’m pretty sure the lots that are closed now were not closed at the end of last season

I’ve seen drums and bagpipes there for soccer

  3. if they have parking for concerts and football (they’ve been construcitng the new stadium during the past football season), then the parking will not be an issue

also, does anyone know what the Giants Stadium policy on noisemakers during soccer matches is? I know for football they’re banned, but I’m guessing they allow instruments, horns, etc. for soccer?

  4. Hey Ives: I went to the Red Bulls home opener that drew a whopping attendance of 17K. I had to park about 1/2 mile away from the stadium entrance! Assuming this game draws 70k plus, where the hell are they (the NJ Sports folks) going park all of the cars for this match?

  5. Hah, Giants Stadium is in Jersey man. I’m going with a big group of buddies. I was willing to spring for better tickets but unfortunately they weren’t. I’m in the US section behind the goal in the lower level, section 102, row 16. Anyone nearby?

  6. I got my tickets from pre-sale:

    Section 237

    Row 4

Corner seats in the US Supporters. Pre-sales went fast – I got decent mezzanine sideline only to lose it because I took too long 🙁
