  1. Kartik, I also hope that the guys get out of the stadium ok. I don’t know what went down with Whitebread and the Marathon assistant (it was off-camera).

I also didn’t see what went down with Clarke. I was too busy jumping up and down and looking for the cellphone to call other Islanders fans.

I just saw the garbage getting tossed at Clarke. I gotta rewind the tape…

  3. I hope the Islanders get out of that stadium alright. It is so typical in Central America when things don’t go their way a riot breaks out. The end of the match was so heated. I loved Colin Clarke’s passion, but let’s hope that didn’t send an already frenzied and bitter crowd over the edge.

  4. Congrats Yankiboy. Pretty horrible game but I’m sure the Islanders don’t give a damn. I wouldn’t put it past them winning at home versus anybody.

  5. My Islanders’ jersey, scarf and cap stink from sweating out the last 30 minutes of the match.

    I gotta stop trembling.

I’m about to freaking cry like a freaking baby.

My Beloved Islanders have done it yet again.

All of this in less than 5 years. In a place that the press and pundits said would never support a pro club.

Thanks to soccer fans everywhere–everyone who has adopted us since discovering that we actually exist.

IN GENERAL COLIN CLARKE I TRUST!!!

  8. I believe now is the time to laugh heartily at the Rangers.

    Celtic will win the Championship.

You’re still on the wrong side of Glasgow, Edu and Beasley.
