  1. Demsey looked really good for Fulham today. He is great on the fast break and has wonderful vision. The US MNT doesn’t play the fast break the way Fulham does so it minimizes his best talents. Against stronger teams, we need to catch them on the break. That holdup Ching stuff isn’t going to score any goals in the Confed cup.

  2. Why in the world does Wenger leave Arshavin and Nasri on the bench, when they have a strong hold on 4th and only the CL left to play for?

    Wenger is cracking up!

  3. “Bradley missed a penalty for BM in the 65th…BM down 2-0 in the 70th…”

And he didn’t get to take the second penalty.

  4. BIG questions about Arsene Wenger after this match. Leaving both Nasri and Arshavin on the bench from the start? Why? And then taking off Adebayor for Bendtner?

VERY questionable decisions from the manager.

Quote of the match from the Setanta commentator: “The Polish goalkeeper is celebrating his 24th birthday today, but the only presents have been given by him”

That second goal was difficult to watch.

  5. Dempsey played very well in the 0-0 game. Unfortunately Zamora was way below Clint’s quality and either couldn’t finish or play the ball back.

  6. Jan Hennegoor of Hesselink, Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, Jan Vennegoor, Jan Hennegoor, Jan Hennegoor of Hesselink

Celtic 1 Aberdeen 0 at the half

  7. Adebayor, adebayor, give him the ball, and he will score (a ridiculous bicycle kick while falling down).

The gunners are on fire and a team to be reckoned with. They can overcome the loss of key players as seen over the winter. Wenger has said he is going to use attack as his best form of defense, so with fabregas, arshavin, walcott, and ade playing well, we could see some goals.

Win or lose, this will be a fabulous game to watch. Props to.Guus hiddink for turning it around so fast at the bridge, I don’t envy anyone who works for abramovich.

Have a great day everyone, I’m headed to work so I’ll be catching the espn gamecast on my blackberry. If you are in the south or the east, enjoy the beautiful weather!
