Soccer Saturday: Your Running Commentary

BarcelonaCelebratesAgain (Getty)

It's a hot, but slow, Soccer Saturday, with MLS, Mexican League and international friendlies running the show today.

If you have been watching, or plan to watch, today's soccer action, feel free to come here to share your thoughts, opinions and play-by-play on all the games in play today.

I will provide a specific MLS preview/commentary post later today, as well as a Galaxy-FC Barcelona post for tonight, but for now, make this your destination to discuss all the soccer happenings on this first day of August.

Enjoy

  2. Watching 2003/2004 Invincibles vs. Liverpool and wetting myself. Wenger is brilliant for constructing that side and I still believe he can build another trophy winning side before he leaves the game.

  9. Mike Grella (Leeds vs. Burnley) scored in leeds final friendly. Leeds won 2-1. Kid went from Duke to League 1 and is playing pretty well. Michael Bradley (BMG vs. FSV Frankfurt) missed a penalty. Second coach that gives Mike that role and hopefully he won’t miss many more. BMG won 2-1 in a cup match.
