  1. AC milan is older team yea, but fault still has to be put on leonardo….they dont think they have even played teams like roma, juventus, and sampdoria yet and they only have 8 points sitting in the middle of the table

a team that has the likes of…..thiago silva, storari, nesta, onyewu, bonera, pirlo, gattuso, flamini, huntelaar, pato, ronaldinho, and seedorf should be acheiving much more than they are…..there are some older players on the team, but thats not much of an excuse when they are all still very good….this is the job of a MANAGER to turn the tables and revive the players off of form….a manager isnt just a football position but you have to know how to manage PEOPLE….and i can tell that is the idiotic part of leonardo’s methods at the moment

i dont think leonardo is an idiot…i just think AC milan is old…they need fresh blood everywhere on the pitch…i dont think you can put any coach thats walking this earth on charge of that team and expect miracles

  3. Granted if he doesn’t get injured, Torres will go the full 90 today. Pachuca has used all of their subs in a game they’re down 2-0 to Santos.

  4. thank you understood…lol i was about to say that

leonardo is an idiot and never diserved to get the job in the first place….kakha kaladze is starting in front of onyewu and that is the stupidest thing i have ever seen….hes starting inzahgi imstead of huntelaar too

onyewu is so much better, bigger, in his prime, not old, faster, way bigger, better tackler, better heading ability(comparing him to kaladze)

and as for that fulop/villa rumor…..something sturd up from a newspaper written by someone who obviously has no idea how good brad guzan is for his age, infact i wouldnt be surprised if he didnt even know who guzan was with the comments in that article, he has only appeared once for aston villa in England….that rumor is hilarious, especially the fact that it says long term, b/c guzan is younger than fulop

  5. glad to see Leonardo struggling…get him the heck outta there….0-0 80th min against bari? its officially time to press the panic button if you’re a milan

  6. is Onyewu on the bench? i thought that I saw him… if it is that’s progress, considering that he wasn’t even dressed for most games…

  7. Petedela, “… I wouldn’t give up on Gladbach. It will just take some time for a new hierarchy to develop…”

In relegation battles time is not on your side.
I look for Gladbach to drop near the bottom once more.

I hope Michael gets out in January.

  8. By almost all accounts, Guzan has performed well when given the chance. Didn’t Fulop spend time as a backup last year for a few months?

  9. beckster,

i wouldnt say fulop is good enough to come in and immediately be ahead of guzan. Competition isn’t bad for Guzan. He’s been under the tutelage of friedel for a while now. Fulop isn’t an automatic #1 starter, IMO

  10. Ives, any truth to this piece of gossip on the bbc today?

“Aston Villa are keen on Sunderland keeper Marton Fulop as he looks for a long-term replacement for Brad Friedel. (Sunday People)”

What does that mean for Guzan?

  11. It’s a goalfest at the statium of light. Very sloppy and Wolves don’t deserve to be down by two goals. Still 12 minutes or so left and anything could happen in this one!

  12. I wouldn’t give up on Gladbach. It will just take some time for a new hierarchy to develop. Last year they were a real old school club with Bradley and Friend being the only exotics. Now they’ve got Arango… who is ten times better than anyone else on the team, but he doesn’t speak a lick of German (and probably not that much English). It will take time for him to be properly integrated into the hierarchy of the team. And Bradley will have to figure out how to be on the same team with his Bizarro twin (Thorben Marx is basically the EXACT same type of player as Bradley).

  13. I was hoping Michael would leave before the season started, as Gladbach a poor side, are certainly headed for yet another relegation battle.

Xerez, the team with so many world class strikers that Jozy couldn’t dress, has yet to score in LaLiga. I think they’ll get one before game 8.

  14. In the time he came on, I only saw MB touch the ball 3 times.

He had no impact on the game. He seemed to be jogging around watching the game around him. 1 bad pass, 1 pass made, missed shot on goal. 0 tackles. (Goal was open, as goalie was on the ground).

As a center mid, he should be touching the ball the most.

Something is definitely going on with the boy. He was terrible.
