  1. Jeeeez, you guys are terrible, i said his STYLE OF PLAY! not once did i say that he’ll start there, wowww, i no he’s nowhere near the level of skill required to start at Barca, but i felt that JFT has that style of play

  2. Damn, not a single comment about Serie A, huh? What a performance from Inter, and a great result against a very good team — and that’s without Eto’o or Milito or Motta.

  3. Omar, nobody said that he should play for Barcelona or Arsene Wenger. We said that he would fit in with their STYLE OF PLAY.

RM07, what’s madness is the lack of reading comprehension skills shown on this site.

btw, Torres has scored TWO goals in 49 appearances for Pachuca. It’s not even his job to score the goals anyways.

  4. Torres has scored one goal in 70 appearances in the substandard mexican league and people here think he should play at Barca…..

    Madness,madness I tell you.

Get used to it around here. Any average player who can string 2 passes together immediately gets the “He should play for Arsene Wenger!” tag.

  6. Brian, it’s most likely because of the travel he had with the national team. I can’t remember too many games he’s missed this season.

  7. CrispyST3,

I have to admit I like Torres, but you don’t realistically think he could start for Barca do you? Keita is in that team for a reason. Think about the youngsters at that club who are better than Torres. Jonathan, Busquets…I think It would be nice to see Torres play in Spain…honestly kind of wish he had stayed with Mexico, we would be seeing more of him. Bradley doesn’t seem to be his biggest fan. The kid’s got style though. Reminds me of watching Aimar at Valencia.

  8. Im watching Barcelona, and i think that JFT would fit into their style of play, and i think that he could work well in Keita’s spot, with Iniesta and Xavi to his sides…..

Torres has a style of play very comparable to Fabregas, which is why Wenger took a shine to him for a short stint of time. But….Iniesta-Torres-Xavi? Do you want to tell me who’s going to be taking the defensive work that Keita normally carries?

“Beasley didn’t even make the bench; again. January can’t come soon enough for him.”

Alex I don’t think January will help much unless he goes lower, like MLS. My memory says Beasley was offered around in the off-season and there were no takers.

  10. Wolves McCarthyon Tim Howard retaliation,
“But their ‘keeper Tim Howard is very fortunate not to be walking off the pitch too. My understanding is that when you raise your hands above neck high and use your hands to push…”

CR, Ruiz scores again with undefeated Twente in Holland. I hope Ticos win vs Uruguay.
