Choosing the best players in MLS is never an easy task, but choosing the 2009 MLS Best XI is extremely tough when you consider the plethora of candidates at the forward position.

Jeff Cunningham, Conor Casey, Fredy Montero, Guillermo Barros Schelotto and Omar Cummings are all worthy candidates at a loaded position, a position made only slightly easier to pick now that Landon Donovan is on the ballot as a midfielder.

Who would make your MLS Best XI? Now is your chance to vote. Here is how you can list your selections: list a goalkeeper, three defenders, five midfielders and two forwards and write the names consecutively rather than including hard returns after each name.

List your Best XI selections in the comments section below. I will put together a reader's choice MLS Best XI based on the entries submitted (no ballot stuffing allowed).
