  1. Bad blood makes point disparities meaningless.

It was an okay game. Atletico took their foot of the pedal in the second half for some reason, even after Xabi Alonso gifted them a penalty to make it 3-2.

Higuain scored number 23, Kun Aguero’s hair looked stunning (based on the number of times he fixed it), so all was right in Madrid.

  2. NYRB- Fire was the best match I watched on saturday, very exciting, good passing, I thought I was watching the Premier League

  3. AC Milan’s defense is terrible. I really hope Gooch gets some play soon. Of course he’s not even in Italy. I saw him las night at the Galaxy game sitting next to Beckham.

  4. Yes he does have a broken nose, but was suspended for today’s match due to accumalation of yellw’s. If he wants to start another match this season, he’ll have to work hard at it. The MB MF did a fantastic job today of creating chances and oppty’s for the forards which resulted in the massive win for MB.

  5. Aris win and clinch playoff spot for Champions League berth.

That means six more games in late April-early May for them.

  6. Is willing to bet his paycheck that Bradley will not see another start at MB due to his suspension for today’s match against Hamburg where MB came out firing on all cylinders and looked real sharp in Bradley’s absence.

  7. Only put it on in time to see the last 15 mins of the first half. They looked OK, Freddy made a few decent moves with the ball but hit a woeful cross with EJ and another forward making good runs into the box and he missed a 25 yard shot well wide. Aris pretty much dominated the last 15 mins of possession, but no great chance to show for it

  8. I wish they would show the most underrated American Abroad in Mix Diskerud. The kid is only 19 plays for Stabaek, a top team, has played in Champions League, starts and has set up there goals. The kid is good

  9. Watching it live it looked completely legit.

On another note, can anyone in MLS actually pass the ball? Watching that game last night was like watching Hull’s B team.

  10. Ives, no mention of the Milan/Lazio game? If Milan win they pull within a point of Inter and tie Roma on 62 points. It’s no Madrid derby, but the San Siro will turn into the Bastille if Milan can’t pull off a win.

  11. why can’t Juve win anymore!? I think they need to go back down to Serie B. Ahh. So frustrating. I expect to see chairs on fire soon.
