Both of the finalists in this year's Europa League will be known today as the second legs of Fulham-Hamburg SV and Liverpool-Atletico Madrid are set to take place.
After a scoreless first leg, Fulham boasts a good chance of reaching the final as it hosts Hamburg (3:00pm, DirecTV). Clint Dempsey will begin today's match at Craven Cottage on the bench.
Liverpool will also play at home (3:00pm, GolTV), but needs to overturn a 1-0 scoreline in order to advance. The hosts will be without Fernando Torres and defender Marvin Skrtel due to injury so getting a victory might prove challenging.

if liverpool gets UEFA qualification spot from 5/6 place in EPL and they go through the finals, would Fulham automatically get a UEFA spot too?
Was it just me, or was Dempsey moving a bit slowly the last about 10 minutes-he kinda came down funny on his left leg about 10 minutes before time-he didn’t figure much in the game after that really…God I hope not.

While I agree Dempsey should be in the game now people have to remember he played the full 90 on Sunday and is coming off of a thigh injury. I assume he comes on for Bobby or Davies at the 60 minute mark. For some reason roy has mostly used him as a sub in Europe.
