The 16 teams still vying for a national championship are in action today in eight Round of 16 matches across the country.

Unbeaten Louisville and title favorites Akron and Maryland are all in action today, and SBI will try to bring you coverage from as many of today's matches as possible. We have Avi Creditor at the Maryland-Penn State title, while Adam Serrano will be at the UCLA-Dartmouth match. The day's early match has already been decided, with Michigan rolling to victory against South Carolina.

  1. Not a bad win for UCLA in 2OT. Should have put Dartmouth away, but they came through when they had to do so. Reminded me of the UCSB win in the 3rd round in similar circumstances last year. Eidar Arriola sure picked a good time to have a brace. Those were his 2d and 3rd goals of the entire season, I believe.

  2. How is it that Servanda Carrasco was able to play today for Cal after video showed him hitting a UCSB player in the face last week?
