Good thing Paraguay doesn’t have a messi. Everyone saw how messi ran threw all our defenders and midfield and the ref stop the play to save us the humiliation. If you do believe me check YouTube is one of the most watched.

Anybody out there know where I could watch the game on-line? No FSC in these parts.

The US-Paraguay game is also on Telefutura, which has the Spanish audio rights for this game.

I am mad that no one showed the Corruption Cup. Qatar vs Russia. Surprise that they tied 1-1. Bet Qatar moves 40 spots on updated FIFA rankings.

it’s a little annoying that the game isn’t even shown delayed on fsc.tv. Is there some problem with putting usmnt games online? Fsc seems to do it with other international friendlies and foreign league games.

Man watching some of these Euro Qualifiers it becomes clear how far behind in passing ability the US’s backline is compared to even teams like Hungary. So many of these teams’ defenses can handle pressure, one touch the ball around, and find a midfielder to link up with. This creates open spaces and excellent counter attacking options. Our defense just seems to punt the ball 20 rows into the stands or to the other team’s goalie, leaving our forwards to chase. Even when our forwards do win the ball there is no one to support them because our midfielders are still coming out of the defensive third. I think this lack of technical ability in the back really hinders and neutralizes the very skilled attacking players we have.

watching england take apart ghana depresses me. we didn’t look quite so good against them as i recall.

what a match holland – hungary. If you are watching a different one I suggest you switch over! Hungary just tied it back up at 3-3 in the 74th minute!

I dunno. This squad, good as it is, still needs Essien. If they are to have a chance at the ACN they’re gonna need to lure him back into international play.

I think it has more to do with patience. Instead of being patient and making short a short pass to the MF ten feet away, or even a smart pass to someone downfield, you get, “Oh s#@!,” and they just boot it away. I can’t remember seeing a slow build-up from the US. I think that’s the American mentality with sports, and that has bled into our style of soccer. No patience.

It’s weird. I should hate Ghana but I found myself supporting them against England. Guess I really can’t stand England.

How about those jerseys England is wearing. Looks like somebody @ Umbro picked up a bedazzler!
