  1. “If he offers anything in tactical intelligence…” seriously?

Thats why he is on his another term at the helm of a regional powerhouse and WC finalist, and you are posting comments in your pajamas.

Did you count the subs last night? Obviously experimenting with formations and player combinations. Did you see the adjustments on Saturday? Have you heard the players talk about their respect for him.

You may disagree with the coach, but cut the hyperbole about offering nothing in tactics.

  2. I think the USA team has a ways to go mentally. There are a core group on the team who can take it -Dempsey– Outside the Egypt & Spain games in 2009 it’s hard to piece together two -important- games in a row where they have won convincingly. A great triumph is followed up with a totally mediocre performance,.. Bradley is here stay..gotta live with it. Too bad.

  3. That’s an excuse really because the other teams face the same issues…

Also its unfortunate that we gave up that set piece goal. Yes we could have done a better job handling it but to be honest there was a bit of bad luck. So now BB is gonna spend an entire week working on set pieces the next time the team gets together and they definitely have bigger problems than that

  4. Bob Bradley should not be in charge.

Another string of plodding cliches from him.

    “There were good moments.”

    “We worked hard.”

If the man offers anything in tactical intelligence, we don’t hear it the press conferences and we don’t see it on the field.

  5. LD was off bc he. Hasn’t played since November. Give him a break. He is rusty bc the MLS just started again. He will get better

  7. JJones habitual giver of the ball to the opposing team…..

MBradley did well passing back to the goalie and every other Defender.

LDonovan seemed more interested in saving his energy for the LAG game this weekend.. Did you witness any of his 6+ dead ball deliveries.. ? #notGoodEnough and forgettable stuff from mr.World Class playah

Rarely did a USA defender leave their feet for a slide tackle. Paraguay was able to waltz through the mids at will…

    uh

    BBradley… outcoached again.

  8. “I don’t think our passing was all that good.”

This statement sums up what I see from USMNT fans.

These last two games are first time in

about 8-9 months that the majority of first string have played a serious game together. Not to mention they are bringing in new guys in several important positions along with some new formations ( 4-3-2-1, 3-5-2).

And the games are against one of the best teams in the world and another pretty good one, both of whom seem to have had their core players together a little more than we have.

And yet you wonder about the inability to pass well? You wonder why they seem to have to adjust to each other.

Do you think it just possible that maybe the US guys haven’t really had any time to adjust to each other?

  9. Knock it off….and you probably vote democrat too…double standard.

I worry about his ability to help the TEAM as a US citizen thanks to his father’s service to this great nation. Have you served or sacrificed for this great nation?

  10. it seemed like the US was a little complacent at the start from where I was… you could argue that there was a foul on the goal, too.

  11. I was at the game. I don’t think our passing was all that good.

We made the passes, but it always seemed like teammates had to adjust to the ball. The ball was not being delivered where it should be.

Credit to Paraguay. They obviously had to work on plugging the holes they gave Mexico. They did exactly that. What holes were open, our passes were all off.

Hats off to Section 8 in Chicago! American Outlaws can’t hold a candle to you. 🙂 Stadium seemed too quiet at times. And, we could hardly hear them.

  12. Off topic, but relevant:

Blackburn have reportedly been told by German side Schalke there is no way they’ll allow Jermaine Jones’ loan move to become permanent.

  13. Man I am wondering why did the USA look so unmotivated yesterday? I am so glad I did not pay for the ultimate fan tickets to just watch the USA lose, its okay I know we will bounce back.
