Fellow Dutch club PSV Eindhoven is also in need of a major comeback after dropping its first leg to Benfica, 4-1. Sporting Braga and Dynamo Kiev are locked in the only remaining battle with imminent suspense, while another Portuguese side, Porto, is already through to the semifinals after a 5-2 thrashing (10-3 aggregate) of Spartak Moscow. 1. oh come on, hulk is an amazing striker not yet at his prime. A player like that would never choose a paycut to come to USA. Did you see how many Benfica players from last season have left for top teams this year? Luiz and Ramirez to chelsea and Di Maria to Real. Hulk will only be heading to a major team or he will sit tight at Porto, playing in a World top 10 league, getting a raise, and duking it out in the Champions and europa leagues with the best teams on the planet for the next three seasons minimum if he doesn’t move up. guranteed.

  2. They lost three in fact. Lost 2-1 to Nacional in a League Cup game, 2-0 to Benfica in the Portuguese Cup semi-final first leg, and lastly 1-0 to Sevilla in the Europa League round of 32 second leg. Incredible season they are having, but too bad the League title is the only silverware they will win this season.

  3. Porto is exceptionally good this season. If memory serves me right they have only lost one match all season…to Sevilla maybe.

  4. Wow, these games are exciting guys. At this point i would rather watch any of these than Barcelona stomp on a hopeless team.
