  1. EPL and La Liga are the only 2 leagues that these eurosnobs know about…In reality, there only 4 teams in the BPL and 2 teams in La Liga that these eurosnobs follow. Bandwagoners…

  2. Umm, when it comes to foreign leagues, the EPL is king here because, well, it’s english, and most Americans speak English as their first, and all too often, only language. Add that with the fact that it’s difficult to watch you’re favorite teams in other leagues on a week to week basis because they games are not covered here in the states, and you end up with many fans of Arsenal, MANU, and the like and not so many for the Braga’s, Fenerbache, et al.

  3. And it seems nobody cares… Too bad yank fans only care about the teams that are spoon fed to them through mass marketing and soccer tours.

  4. This game was destined for a low scoring affair given Braga’s disciplined run to the final and the two sides’ familiarity with each other, coupled with the fact that it’s a European final.

Porto was the deserved winner over the course of the competition. The club now has as many European trophies as Manchester United.
