Red Bulls vs. FC Dallas: Match Night Commentary

New York Red Bulls Logo FC Dallas Logo

The New York Red Bulls are in full-blown struggle mode and don't exactly have a pushover of an opponent today as red-hot FC Dallas will try to keep the Red Bulls sliding in their inter-conference clash (6pm, MSG).

New York is fresh off a 4-1 mauling against Colorado, but welcome back Mexican defender Rafa Marquez. Whether that will be enough to stop Brek Shea and co. remains to be seen.

SBI will be providing commentary on today's match so please feel free to follow along here. As always, you are welcome to share your own thoughts and opinions in the comments section below.

  1. Ballouchy and McCarty in the middle together is a mistake, one or the other. Backe takes credit for that aberration, neither is a ball winner.

  2. Nice goal Henry, great to tie it down a man, but still not good enough. You have to trust someone on that bench eventually besides one player. Ballouchy blah blah so sick of talking about it.

  3. lets hope they dont get soft now like it has been the norm for them after going up 1-0 or 2-0 on teams so far this year….lets hope that changes.

  4. so far this first half the redbulls are showing how much of a different team with Rafa and Ream in the backline, night and day….now if they can make the extra pass when htey are in the box this could be 2-0 redbulls by now…once we get healthy this team is as good as any in MLS.
