Horrible miss by Colombia. One of the worst misses I have ever seen. And it should have been a penalty and red card.

  • jonk

So it looks like the new stadium honeymoon is over in KC? Or is it just a Wednesday thing?

  • KNPonder

Still in disbelief that it was not a penalty . . . and that Moreno missed the open net. Colombia looks the better side at the half . . . still a ways to go though. Argentina having lots of trouble getting past that 5 man midfield.

  • Danny

Gotta love the Telefutura commentary! Ramirez (I think that’s his name) and Bracamontes are probably the best N America. Jorge Ramos in a close 2nd.

  • jonk

You got me, I’m a moron cause I thought it was the 4th game in a brand new stadium and maybe they’d still be approaching sellout numbers. But as I wrote, maybe it’s a Wednesday thing. That’s fair but I was only asking.

  • Tim

I’m still in disbelief that Messi looks like a completely different player when he plays for country.

  • Jacques

he looked good, but they have no playmaker when Chumiento is out…they need to do some shopping

  • gtv

Agreed. He looked very discouraged toward the end of the match. I don’t know if he was unhappy with his teammates’ play or just frustrated by his own. But how in the world Argentina are not winning with all their talent is a mystery. And it can’t be all down to coaching. With no coach a team with this much talent should be able to win. Do Tevez, Messi, Milito, Higuain and the rest not get along? Like the old Dutch teams?

  • Dennis

Where are the cries to fire Bob Bradley for the players inability to connect passes and finish?

2 Draws (not to mention the draw vs the US) and not looking particularly competent in doing so. WOW!

Batista must be taking some real flack!
