  1. Argenteeeena!!!

Where are the cries to fire Bob Bradley for the players inability to connect passes and finish?

2 Draws (not to mention the draw vs the US) and not looking particularly competent in doing so. WOW!

Batista must be taking some real flack!

  2. Agreed. He looked very discouraged toward the end of the match. I don’t know if he was unhappy with his teammates’ play or just frustrated by his own. But how in the world Argentina are not winning with all their talent is a mystery. And it can’t be all down to coaching. With no coach a team with this much talent should be able to win. Do Tevez, Messi, Milito, Higuain and the rest not get along? Like the old Dutch teams?

  3. You got me, I’m a moron cause I thought it was the 4th game in a brand new stadium and maybe they’d still be approaching sellout numbers. But as I wrote, maybe it’s a Wednesday thing. That’s fair but I was only asking.

  4. Gotta love the Telefutura commentary! Ramirez (I think that’s his name) and Bracamontes are probably the best N America. Jorge Ramos in a close 2nd.

  5. Still in disbelief that it was not a penalty . . . and that Moreno missed the open net. Colombia looks the better side at the half . . . still a ways to go though. Argentina having lots of trouble getting past that 5 man midfield.

  6. Horrible miss by Colombia. One of the worst misses I have ever seen. And it should have been a penalty and red card.
