  2. Marquez is a waste of a DP spot, not tomention money. The guy does not defend, leaves it to Ream to handle everything. Hope he sold a lot of jersys but I doubt it. I don’t see smooth but lackadaisical.

  3. and, the worst defender by far, tho, was roy miller. how many times, even on chi goal 1, was he just standing and watching.

he’d have merit, if, when going forward his decision making was better. but it isn’t good. at least this game he didn’t try a long range shot which went stupidly wide.

  4. disagree. he has weakness, clearly, but that can be improved. that’s no to say he WILL, just saying he can. and you can’t teach that touch on the ball.

he made some excellent defensive saves too.

marquez got burned badly on chi goal 2. and he’s supposed to have the experience not to be. if you’re gonna single one of those two out, it should be marquez.

  5. define “new”. not when team is full strength (whenever that is). agudelo is not, nor will he be, a started for backe this season… only when absolutely needed.

  6. If Jair Marrufo isn’t the worst ref in MLS, it says more about the standard of officials than it does him.

So sick of the draws. The fact that Auvray stands out because he has the legs to run hard is pathetic. I was probably the last person anywhere outside the head coach who was trying to defend Ballouchy but it’s just impossible to do it.

There’s no way anyone can be picking this team to make the playoffs as of right now.

  7. He is a great passer …but TERRIBLE defender….Rafa Marquez has made a career of that but defense is more important for the USMNT since the US doesnt have a possession game to hide him …

So No, he’s not the answer…

  8. I’ve been out of the country and missed the last few games… Has Agudelo been starting on the bench or is this new? (and of course I mean since Rodgers went down)
