The Philadelphia Union will look to regain its hold on first place in the Eastern Conference, but it won't be easy against a strong FC Dallas team tonight as the sides clash in the top match in MLS match this weekend (8pm).

The Union will be debuting newly-signed midfielder Freddy Adu, who is in the starting lineup just one day after being introduced as Philadelphia's newest player. Adu will be looking to share the spotlight with FC Dallas star Brek Shea, arguably the hottest player in MLS at the moment.

SBI will be providing commentary on tonight's match so please feel free to share your thoughts, opinions and some play-by-play in the comments section below.

  1. FC Dallas learned a lesson tonight. Don’t touch opposing players in your box. They will get to learn the same lesson against v Pumas in Mexico City on Wednesday.

  2. Union grind one out with some penalties. They’ve got a long way to go in attack. Can I just say that Brek Shea is a flipp’n handful. Man he’s good…if you didn’t already know. C’Mon the U!

  3. These commentators in the MLS need to take Pablo & Jesus 1301 Futbol classes!!! Simply horrible and boring. All the MLS games should be on telefutura or galavision, period. Talk about the lack of homework with these broadcasters. No wonder a lot of folks find soccer boring here in the states. .. Ok, done ranting. 🙂
