If all the trailers and screenshots have you itching to get your hands on FIFA12, Tuesday will provide some temporary relief.

The FIFA12 demo is set to release on both the Playstation 3 and Xbox360 consoles on Tuesday, giving gamers a glimpse of the latest installment of the top selling soccer video game on the market two weeks before it is released.

The demo, which has been highly anticipated by gamers around the world, was expected to drop in North America at 5 a.m. on the Xbox360 and is slated for a 5 p.m. drop on the Playstation 3.

As it does every year, EA Sports has added a number of features to its game. Among those included this year are Tactical Defending, Precision Dribbling and Player Impact Engine.

FIFA12 is scheduled to hit the stores on Sept. 27 in North America. It will come out three days later in Europe.

The demo for Pro Evolution Soccer 2012, FIFA12's main competitor, drops for both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on Wednesday, Sept. 14.

  4. Is Marquez the most perplexing North American FIFA cover boy ever based on his current level of playing ability, or would that go to either Altidore or Kljestan from previous years?

  5. I heard all MLS teams aren’t available on this version?

    Blasphemy…

They need to do whatever they need to, to get the rights to the J-league and the Japanese national team.

Konami has exclusive rights for how long?

  6. And I swear to you…my FIFA 10 disc gave out on me (“disc no longer readable”) just three days ago. Talk about sweet timing…or a massive conspiracy by FIFA to force you to buy their new game. (shakes fist to sky) Damn you Blatter…DAAAAAMN YOUUUUU! you win again.

  7. I’m so glad they made it for PS2 this year! By far the most in-depth version with more leagues and players than any other edition. What with the Russian teams recent spending there was a lot of good players that aren’t in the game for the other consoles.
