MLS Match Night: Live Commentary

The Major League Soccer season is winding down to its final weeks, meaning each weekend is becoming more and more important with relation to the playoff race, and teams are facing more important matches every weekend.

Tonight is no different, with a bunch of playoff hopefuls take the field in vital matches they need to help boost their post-season chances. Here is the schedule for tonight's matches:

7:30 p.m. – MLS Direct Kick/MatchDay Live - D.C. United vs. Real Salt Lake

7:30 p.m. – MLS Direct Kick/MatchDay Live - New York Red Bulls vs. Portland Timbers

7:30 p.m. – MLS Direct Kick/MatchDay Live - Columbus Crew vs. Los Angeles Galaxy

9 p.m. – MLS Direct Kick/MatchDay Live - Colorado Rapids vs. San Jose Earthquakes

10:30 p.m. – MLS Direct Kick/MatchDay Live - Vancouver Whitecaps vs. Seattle Sounders

10:30 p.m. – MLS Direct Kick/MatchDay Live - Chivas USA vs. Toronto FC

  1. CO – SJ is now livestreaming at the above mentioned site. It says “Sounders v. Vancouver” but you can see Omar Cummings in the screen cap.

  2. Red Bulls looking dumber and dumber by the day. Quick poll, what is more stupid?
    1) Paying $4.6 mil for lazy Rafa Marquez
    2) Trading away DeRo (and throwing in DaLuz) for essentially a bag of soccer balls
    3) Signing an ancient, injured DP goalkeeper
