When Caleb Porter released his initial roster for the upcoming U.S. Under-23 training camp in Florida, a few omissions raised some eyebrows.
A couple of those players in question are now included, as Borussia Dortmund striker Terrence Boyd and UCLA playmaker Kelyn Rowe were added to the camp, during which Porter will get a look at 30 players eligible for Olympic qualifying.
Boyd was a standout performer at the U-23 camp in Germany last month, and Rowe is coming off another strong season at UCLA, one that ended with him earning Pac-12 Player of the Year honors along with a College Cup berth. They'll both compete at the camp, which takes place Dec. 15-23 at Lakewood Ranch, Fla.
What do you think of this development? Happy to see both players included?

Rowe wanted to finish his season at UCLA.
Not sure about a cakewalk but it should be definitely strong enough to get us to the olympics. However, once there I have no clue how it would compare to the south American and European teams.
I hope Galaxy has their eye on this kid
Agree 100% with Wilyboy.
When this team figures out defensive core, the offense will be a cake walk for Porter.
it would be interesting to see how the college players compare with those on the u-23 teams. It may not be fair to compare to boyd who has done really well and isn’t far at all from earning a call to his senior team.
You should see another bomb rowe scored. Just search his name on youtube
Yup, that was sick. Don’t get tired of watching that goal by Rowe.
Rowe’s goal in the semi-finals was pure class. Hope to see him develop further.
Never seen Boyd play, but I hear great things. Looking forward to seeing him play and succeed.
I wonder why were they left out in the first place.
