Tottenham and LIverpool both have Champions League aspirations, and both can boost their place near the top of the English Premier League standings when they face off at Anfield today (2:55pm, ESPN2).
Today features the return of Luis Suarez from his suspension for making racist remarks at Manchester United's Patrice Evra, and Suarez will be key to trying to help the Reds climb up from their current seventh-place position in the standings. A win could push Liverpool past Arsenal into sixth place.
Tottenham is aiming higher, with a win today at Liverpool moving Spurs to within three points of Manchester United for second place. Winning at Anfield will be tough with both Rafael Van Der Vaart and Aaron Lennon set to miss the match. One player who won't be missing the match is Brad Friedel, who will extend his record of consecutive Premier League starts to 290 with today's match.

I think liverpool is better than Tottenham, although the outcome of the match 0 : 0, more liverpool have the opportunity to score a goal.
Parker man of the match, all over the pitch, and kept Stevie G in check.
