The man who helped build the Colorado Rapids' championship side will be sticking around to try and help rebuild the squad under new head coach Oscar Pareja.

Technical Director Paul Bravo signed a new three-year deal with the Rapids on Wednesday, extending a stay that began in 2009. Bravo will continue to be in charge of the club's soccer operations and will look to help the club win another MLS Cup trophy after doing so in 2010.

Bravo remained with the club during the offseason despite the dismissals of managing director Jeff Plush and head coach Gary Smith. Bravo hired Pareja as Colorado's head coach and just added Wilmer Cabrera as an assistant.

Here are more stories from around the league:

REVOLUTION ACQUIRE MORENO ON LOAN FROM ONCE CALDAS

The New England Revolution have added to its attacking options by signing Colombian forward Jose Moreno on loan from Once Caldas. The 30-year-old forward has spent much of his playing career in Colombia but has also had stints with clubs in Peru, Argentina, Romani and Ukraine. He scored seven goals and had four assists last season with Once Caladas.

CAMILO SIGNS NEW DEAL WITH WHITECAPS

The Vancouver Whitecaps locked up its 2011 Player of the Year and top goalscorer to a longer stay, as Camilo Sanvezzo has agreed to a new contract with the club. The 23-year-old Camilo enjoyed a strong first season in MLS, scoring 13 goals in all competitions. Camilo is part of a talented group of forwards currently on the Whitecaps roster, a group that includes Eric Hassli and recently-acquired Sebastien Le Toux.
