SBI MLS Player of the Week: Thierry Henry

In a weekend of outstanding performances, none was more impressive than the virtuoso display put in by New York Red Bulls star Thierry Henry.

He delivered two clutch goals and an assist in the Red Bulls 4-1 thrashing of the Colorado Rapids, and as much as there were several important individual performances from his teammates, Henry was the star of the show. The result was New York's first win of the season, and Henry's efforts made him the pick to be SBI's MLS Player of the Week.

Henry beat out a field that included San Jose's Chris Wondolowski, Red Bulls teammate Kenny Cooper, the Sporting KC tandem of Graham Zusi and Chance Myers, Chivas USA's Dan Kennedy and New England goalkeeper Matt Reis.

What did you think of Henry's performance? Who got your vote for MLS Player of the Week this week?
