I also cannot find the tunnels. Do I have to wear a small black and white shirt? What does that mean? Should I foul Sneijder in the process of storming the field?
It was alright, but the Write the Future ad from the 2010 world cup was much better in my opinion. It certainly had a much clearer and well defined concept.
It is simple this commercial wants to get you interested in playing soccer. They figure once you are interested you would go to the store and buy their cleats and other soccer accessories.
seriously, what is the point of these commercials? i’m not looking for War and Peace here, but it’d be nice if there was a point besides just players flicking the ball around
Fake
What is a tunnel?
I hadn’t seen the FA’s sendup… that’s awesome!
+1 :
So nobody caught Baloteli with the “Business in the front/party in the back”???!!! Barber chair. haha!
…and did anyone see how huge Lebron’s hands were compared to that ball?
Yeah brings back memories, good times.
It was amazing. I admit that. I just speak of the video itself and its plot and flow.
The tunnels (now that I get them) are super cool, but the sheer plot and filming of “take it to the next level” are better for me.
I prefer this one.

Okay, but this whole tunnel thing is going to revolutionalize online ads. How cool was the Nike Barber Shop?

haha this is way dumb….
Another in a recent line of great Nike soccer commercials…
yeah, but that was an egregious handle in the box. He should be suspended from his next game, whenever that is.
Take it to the next level blows this commercial away, although this one is not bad at all.

And those street walkers then proceeded to rob M’Vila.
Must…buy…Nike…products!
For his services in this ad, Ribery was paid with 16-year-old street walkers.

I cannot find the tunnels
Also I just remembered Roger Federer was once in one of their big soccer ads so it is not the first time they used in athlete in a different sport.
that must be it. or maybe you have the attention span of a gnat so you enjoy random clips that mean nothing
To be fair during there last extravaganza of a commercial(the one for the World Cup) they had Donovan and Howard in it.
I’m extremely confused
I liked it, we always talk about how cool it would be if our best at athletics would play & we got a snarky little look there.
Really they couldn’t put in an actual US player. They put in Lebron? Couldn’t you get Tim Howard for that. It isn’t like people don’t know who he is.
I’m guessing you’re old and you didn’t find any of the tunnels.
Strange concept. Reminds me of The Matrix with all those extra players running on the pitch like copies of Agent Smith.
Was there a second at the end showing a screen from Sonic the Headgehog???
Not bad, though not quite as good as Guy Ritchie’s 2008 “Take It to the Next Level” spot: http://youtu.be/lZA-57h64kE?hd=1
I noticed LeBron wasn’t wearing any rings when he caught that ball.
Looks like next years commercial will be a ringless one, too.
hahahaha Lebron owned Hernandez! i was hoping Dempsey would be in this, or at least Howard.
