The U.S. Under-18 men's national team played to its second consecutive draw in the Lisbon International Tournament on Thursday, playing Slovakia to a 0-0 tie.

The result came a day after the U-18s tied Poland 1-1 on a goal by Chivas USA academy forward Ben Spencer, who volleyed in the equalizer after Alejandro Guido's cross was flicked on by Los Angeles Galaxy forward Jack McBean. The U-18s complete their three-game stretch against U-19 sides in Lisbon on Saturday against host Portugal, which defeated both Poland and Slovakia in their meetings.

  1. What makes you think that they weren’t used in the first game against Poland. This is just the starting 11 against Slovakia.

  2. Interesting that Pfeffer, Oliver and Horvath haven’t been used yet. Saving them for tomorrow’s big match against Portugal?

  3. I’d like to see references to all their clubs, not just those in MLS. I had to look it up because I’d forgotten that Guido recently signed with Tijuana.
