  1. You would be pretty frustrated too if you just got overlooked for the very competition that you brought to your home country! Come on it was a harmless kick of the ball, at most a game or two suspension. Don’t over react just bc it is becks.

  2. I posted this earlier and my comment got deleted. what’s going on? some kind of LD conspiracy???

All I’m trying to figure out is what Landon’s comment was from a couple years ago that the commentator’s referenced just before halftime about hinting at retiring from international play.

  3. There was a huge collision on a cross. 4-5 guys. I don’t remember if it was an arm or foot that got him, but he had a nice shiner and his eye was starting to swell shut throughout the first half.

  4. And ANOTHER huge blown call. Lenhart is in on goal again and called offside when he’s a yard onside easy.

    This is so freaking sad.

  5. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a half of soccer quite like this one anywhere.

Don’t really know what else one could ask for.

  6. Okay forget what I just said about not complaining… but that’s horses&$ to card Lenhart for not hearing the whistle from 60 yards behind him with the crowd screaming and him on a fast break.

    Ridiculous.

  7. I’m going to just stop complaining about MLS officials and applaud only good decisions.

If you never hear from me again, that is why.

  9. Seattle just cant get it right in league play right now, although Eddie Johnson looks like he may finally be coming on.

  10. Julio Jones steps into and puts two hands into Espindola’s chest and tackles him as Espindola blows by him on the edge of the box.

    Referee having a shocker.

  11. Would love to hear the official’s explanation for why Eddie Gaven didn’t deserve a booking for a cynical scissor tackle from behind while pulling the player down by collar.

  12. I saw that: quite the move! I’m not sure the defense was really awake, but I predict a ‘must see’ video from Ives.

  13. Wow! Is Eddie Johnson under some dillusion of getting on the Klinsman radar? 2 nice headers to put Seattle up on NE after giving up an early off side goal, all at 36 minutes!

  14. It would be something for Zakuani to make his return tonight. I will be at the game and I would love to see him back. Big game for the Revs to stay in the playoff picture
