Match Highlights

AS Roma 2, Liverpool 1: Match Highlights

The General bossed the midfield. Feels like the start of something big here…

Good to see Bradley get some reward for his work. I thought he looked tired throughout much of the game, but managed to keep going and made strong contributions. In addition to the goal, he made at least one through pass that should have resulted in a goal.

  • Ben

Didn’t get to see the game, but I’ve been wanting to see that through ball. All the highlight are of the goals.

Bradley only plays on the national team, cuz his dad is the coach. I remember hearing that one, too many times. The kid will go down as one of the best players to play for the national team. Good luck Baby Bradley.

  • the proof is in the pudding

I thought Bradley only played because President Obama gave him a visa. You know he was born in Kenya

  • elgringorico

Awesome to remember he’s only 24. He’s been through so much and trumped it all. What a compelling, inspiring athlete. Can’t wait to watch him this season.

    When people argue about who
s the netter Nat, Donovan or Dempsey (and I come down on the Donovan side) I find myself increasingly thinking that by 2014, it’s going to be Bradley.

Please refrain from political statements on a “soccer” thread. Bradley plays because he’s good enough to play, Klinnsmann still starts Bradley.

  • ChrisTheLSUTiger

It was similar to his through ball in the Brazil game that led to Johnson centering it for Gomez to score, except it was on the right hand side and the guy had a great angle to shoot (but blew it).

Bradley will be our WC captain in 2018

He signed a 4 year contract with Roma. Let’s say he does well over the years. Where do you think he will go next? The Spanish or French league? Back to England?

  • giggity

Seriously? Is that a serious question?

Why leave the capital of Italy, playing for one of its most storied teams, with a good chance to play European football every year?

Premier League is overrated. Bradley’s style fits perfectly into what Italians crave in their football players.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he retires in Italy.

  • TheFrenchOne

so he has 2 good outings in friendlies with his new team and you start mapping out his next move? get a grip. let him settle in and experience the ups and downs of the season. we all agree he is becoming a phenomenal player, just enjoy it

  • Weaksauce

Until he pushes forward more and will take on a player while in possession then:

    Jermaine Jones > Bradley

  • Shark

This might be one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen posted on this board.

You sir have no clue what-so-ever.

  • PurpleGold

are you kidding me? real mature, thanks, thanks a lot, why dont you grow up. now i have to explain to my 12 year old son what a wee wee means and why its a sinful, disgusting thing. his favorite player was michael bradley and now hes crying because of you. I hope you feel like a big man. youre a joke and you should be ashamed of yourself.

  • Lorenzo

Maybe someone can chip in hear but I thought Bradley is one of the few players we have who can run forward with the ball and make passes. Jermaine sometimes try’s to do this, tries to do too much and looses the dang ball, twellman talked about it a couple games ago.

  • Goalkeeper72

Your 12 year old does not know what a wee wee is? Get off soccer by Ives and start parenting!

  • ThaPirate

crying over this? that kid needs to grow a pair. Also, why do you think his wee wee is sinful and disgusting? This post has waaaaay too many isssues going on. best just to leave that family problem stuff off the boards.
