The Colorado Rapids' two-game losing streak is over, while the Portland Timbers' winless ways on the road continue.

Jaime Castrillon, Conor Casey and Jamie Smith all scored as the Rapids ended their two-match skid with a 3-0 victory over the Timbers at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Saturday night. The Timbers are now 0-5-2 on the road this year.

Castrillon opened the scoring for the hosts in the first half when he redirected the ball into the back of the net before Casey beautifully headed home for his first goal of the season. Smith also scored his first of the year, knocking in the easiest of finishes in the 89th minute of the match that marked his first game since tearing his ACL last fall.
