SBI's TV Guide to Summer Friendlies

A long list of summer friendlies that are being televised in North America kicks off Wednesday night, when the Seattle Sounders take on UEFA Champions League winner Chelsea at CenturyLink Field as part of the World Football Challenge.

In addition to the WFC, Manchester United's summer tour that includes a trip to South Africa and matches against Barcelona and Didier Drogba's Shanghai Shenhua is also being televised for all to see.

Between teams like Real Madrid, AC Milan, Liverpool, Chelsea, Paris-St. Germain and Mexican champion Santos Laguna taking part in the WFC, the MLS All-Star Game featuring Chelsea and non-affiliated preseason tours from teams like Tottenham, Aston Villa, AS Roma, Stoke City, Swansea City, Montpellier and Lyon, soccer fans in the United States will have plenty of opportunities to see some of Europe's best teams and players either in person, on national TV or on local broadcasts.

As for the nationally televised matches, here is the schedule for this summer's friendlies on TV:

Terry had the game of his life in that Champions League final…

(Hey — I just spotted Chuck Blazer in that photo! He’s like Forrest Gump.)

I still get a laugh seeing John Terry in his fresh uniform going up there celebrating with everyone else.
    What an absolute clown.

Not to be a Terry apologist, but he was with the team the rest of the tournament and deserves as much credit as anyone else.

You’re right. But the post set the bar pretty low with including Chicago-fire.com live stream.
