U.S. women aim for complete showing in Olympic battle with Colombia

This time, the U.S. women's national team will hope for 90 minutes of domination, not just 76.

After falling behind to France 2-0 in the opening 14 minutes of their Olympic run, the U.S. women straightened things out behind the explosive front line of Abby Wambach and Alex Morgan, the flank play of Megan Rapinoe and a rocket of a shot by Carli Lloyd. When they take on Colombia (12 p.m., NBC Sports Network, NBCOlympics.com), they'll look to repeat performance of their second group match from the 2011 World Cup — a complete performance and 3-0 rout of the Colombians with goals from Heather O'Reilly, Rapinoe and Lloyd.

Veteran central midfielder Shannon Boxx has been ruled out for the game with a hamstring injury, meaning that Lloyd, who entered for Boxx and scored the game-winning goal against France, is likely to make her return to the starting lineup.

Colombia, meanwhile, lost to North Korea in their opening match, a game that was delayed after a mistake at the stadium had the South Korea flag on display. As a result, the South American side will be desperate for points or risks being eliminated prior to the final group game.

What kind of performance do you expect from the U.S. women? Do you think Colombia will present a tough challenge?
