A peek at MLS36: Chris Wondolowski

The first episode of NBC Sports Network's MLS36 series will air Sunday night at 9:30 p.m., featuring San Jose Earthquakes forward Chris Wondolowski. NBCSN's cameras followed Wondolowski for 36 hours at the MLS All-Star break in Philadelphia, and even managed to catch a memorable moment between Wondolowski and Chelsea captain John Terry during MLS' 3-2 triumph over the UEFA Champions League winners. 1. San Jose needs to give Wondo DP money the guy has earned it and it would be a great precedent for american players working their way up

  2. cannot wait for this. Agree with Jared Dubois of the Best Soccer Show: Montero and Wondo are guys that deserve to be in the spotlight. They are big names in MLS but maybe not in sports in general. I’m glad they chose these two over say Henry, Beckham, Donovan

  3. the NHL36 episodes were great, can’t wait for the MLS versions to air.

and that’s a nice footballing compliment from Terry. his character is questionable, but he’s been a very good defender for quite some time now.

  4. Wow, that’s a compliment coming from one of the game’s better defenders. Wondo put it very simply: “the defenders can’t watch you and the ball at the same time.”

  5. Say what you will about Terry as a person, his soccer skills are not in question, and for him to come up to Wondo like that and pay him that compliment…well done, Chris. Way to represent…Chico State!!!
