Manchester United vs. Barcelona: Your Running Commentary

MUFC Barca

It's not often that world powers Manchester United and Barcelona meet each other, and even though Wednesday's contest is just a preseason friendly, there is still plenty of starpower on the field for both teams that should make for an entertaining bout.

The two renowned clubs that played in the 2009 and 2011 UEFA Champions League finals meet in Sweden (2 p.m., Fox Soccer Channel) as part of their preparations for the upcoming season. The Red Devils have trotted out a first-choice lineup for the match, with Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck starting up top while Nemanja Vidic continues his comeback from injury while partnering with Rio Ferdinand in front of Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea.

Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta, Carles Puyol and Dani Alves are among the starters for Barcelona, which has Xavi and Cesc Fabregas on the bench to start the match.
