It is a relatively light Saturday night of MLS action, but there are still plenty of storylines to follow, with the Eastern Conference leading the way tonight.

Four all-East match-ups headline the schedule as teams jockey for playoff position, and scrap for survival. In New England, the Revolution begin life without Shalrie Joseph as they take on a Sporting Kansas City side that will try to avoid the distraction of playing a U.S. Open Cup Final in four days.

In Montreal, the Impact will look to continue their recent impressive home form aainst a Philadelphia Union team that has flourished under interim head coach John Hackworth.

  1. RC to Jack Mac was uncalled for and disgraceful. Sticking up for your teammates shouldn’t be punished, and a push is nowhere near as offensive as a headbutt to the face.

    Didn’t see how Philly played up to that point, but they deserved the man advantage after that altercation.
