Three of the remaining teams in Division I men's college soccer with perfect records suffered their first losses of the season last weekend, leaving Marquette, Cornell and High Point as the lone remaining teams in the nation with unbeaten and untied records.

Louisville knocked off Notre Dame in a battle of Big East heavyweights, with Andrew Farrell converting the winning penalty kick to give the Cardinals a 2-1 victory against the Fighting Irish on Saturday.

Old Dominion nearly suffered their first loss last week, before weather forced the cancellation of their match vs. No. 1 ranked Maryland. ODU's first loss came on Saturday, as Drexel shocked the Monarchs with a 4-1 triumph in Philadelphia on Saturday.

Out West, UC-Riverside fell from the ranks of the unbeatens, losing to CSU-Bakersfield, 2-0, on Sunday. Korey Kindle scored both goals for the Roadrunners.

The weekend's most high-profile match-ups included UCSB tying UCLA in a clash of West Coast powers, while UConn thrashed St. John's, 3-0, in a battle of Big East giants. In the ACC, North Carolina edged Virginia, 1-0, in a battle of two of the past three national champions.
