The Chicago Fire have loaned out young forward Orr Barouch to Israeli side Bnei Yehuda for the rest of the year, the club announced on Thursday.

The 20-year-old Barouch has played in nine matches for the Fire this season. In 2011, Barouch notched two goals and two assists.

A member of the Israeli Under-21 national team, Barouch joined the Fire last season from Mexican side UNAM Pumas. He originally joined the Fire on loan before Chicago purchased his contract last December.

  1. You are correct, it was Tigres.
Just another amateurish mistake by this site.
We will have a world class national team, once we have a world class soccer reporting team. On both fronts, we have a ways to go.

  2. Love this move by the Fire. MacDonald really takes over the position that Barouch was filling in regards to a post up forward. This gives Orr the opportunity to get more playing time and develop more as a player. I only wish the league would have allowed them to make this move sooner.
