As far as Americans Abroad match-ups go, this weekend could provide one of the best of the season.

As many as four Americans could be on the field at the same time on Sunday, as Tottenham takes on Aston Villa. Spurs goalkeeper Brad Friedel and Villans netminder Brad Guzan are likely to square off in a battle of former mentor and apprentice, while Clint Dempsey might have to beat the likes of Eric Lichaj in order to score in a second consecutive league game for fifth-place Tottenham.

Geoff Cameron and Maurice Edu may also be involved in one of the more interesting match-ups of the weekend. Stoke City will visit Anfield to face Liverpool for the first time this season and Cameron is a sure bet to start for the Potters, though at what position is anyone's guess. Edu will be looking to make his Stoke debut after failing to find the field in September.

While that duo will aim to help Stoke earn a victory, another player will be targetting his return from injury on Sunday. Michael Bradley is recovered from the thigh strain that forced him out of action last month and is hoping to play in AS Roma's match with Atalanta. Should Bradley play, the match would mark his second league appearance this season.
