Ashley Cole's now infamous tweet grabbed its share of headlines last week, and this week will be no different it appears.
Cole has been charged with misconduct by the English FA for his tweet that came in response to the John Terry racism case. The 31-year-old fullback, who has since apologized for the tweet, has until October 11 to responde to the charge
Cole is is due to join the England national team camp on Monday to prepare for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against San Marino and Poland. Cole has 98 career caps for the Three Lions and he could reach 100 if he plays in both upcoming games.

RED BULLS YOUTH COACH MURDERED IN NYC
A New York Red Bulls youth coach was fatally stabbed to death in New York City on Sunday morning. Mike Jones was found lying on the ground on 14th street between 5th and 6th avenues around 4:30am on Sunday after being slashed several times in the head, neck and chest. The 25-year-old Jones, who, according to police, also had one of his ears cut off was rushed to a nearby hospital but died due to the amount of blood he had already lost. Jones' suspected attacker is still on the loose, though recent surveillance footage that depicts what he looks like has been released.
ALVES OUT THREE WEEKS WITH THIGH INJURY
The injury bug just refuses to leave Barcelona alone. Add Dani Alves to the list of walking wounded for the Spanish giants, as the Brazilian defender has been ruled out for three weeks due to a pulled muscle in his left thigh. Alves suffered the knock in the first half of Barcelona's 2-2 draw with Real Madrid on Sunday and he was replaced at halftime. Barcelona is currently without Carles Puyol, Gerard Pique, Eric Abidal and Thiago Alcantara because of respectice injuries.
BALOTELLI AMONG PLAYERS BACK IN ITALY SQUAD
Several players have been recalled to the Italian national team for the first time in a while, but no player is likely to draw more attention than Mario Balotelli. The controversial Mario Balotelli was recalled by Azzurri head coach Cesare Prandelli for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Armenia and Denmark after missing last month's games against Malta and Bulgaria because of an eye injury.
