  1. Earthquakes Women FC United reported that LA Galaxy fans set off smoke bombs in stadium and then fought riot police and tear gas.

A group of fans were arrested for hooliganism and riot police accompanied by K-9 units searched the ACB busses. All non-arrested ACB members were escorted from the stadium and forced to leave by Santa Clara police.

    • I never saw any smoke bombs and they definitely weren’t fighting the police. I was sitting about 10 rows up from them. Security had them under control in the stands. A fight broke out between some Ultras and LA fans behind the stands. Same old thing, we despise each other. There was a lot more fighting back in the day at Spartan, but security is much tighter at Buck Shaw. They were removed and escorted from the stadium for their own safety. The police did them a favor, it could have been much uglier… bar none the worst traveling fans in the league, not even close. On a side note, I saw M. Doyle a few rows below them sitting next to some guy holding a microphone recording the nuttiness…hysterical. As far as the game, I’m more, concerned that LA
opened up our D with ease with extremely quick passing. It was very impressive and alarming. We didn’t have answer for Keane at all, he was constantly finding pockets and creating havoc. LA was also successful with high pressure, we couldn’t do anything on offense. They backed off that in the second half, which was odd because it was very effective. Cronin and Baca struggled with their marking allowing Juninho to run the show. Awesome battle between Omar and Lenny… overall, the typical Cali death match.

  2. Wow. The LA Galaxy should ban the Angel City Brigade from ever participating in any official capacity again.

Police dogs searching their buses, entire supporters group removed from game and sent home. Hooliganism, berating other fans with abusive language, causing real problems.

They posted some really nasty things about the entire SJ organization on their Facebook page and are just off the deep end.

    • I think the saying is supposed to be “Time Warner Sucks!”
Can’t wait til we get rid of the FCC regulations that keep us reliant on cable/satalite companies to act as middlemen that we have to pay to bundle channels together and sell to us, when we only really watch regularly about 5 channels that we really care about and could be subscrining directly to content providers like MLS or individual channels over the internet.
