Must-See Goal: Luis Suarez

  • Good Jeremy

How can such a turd be so talented?
Wishing him and Holden could trade injury histories.

  • BCC

He could score a goal involving teleportation and I wouldn’t care. I don’t respect him.

      • BCC

Suarez, Liverpool, and Liverpool fans should be saddened by Liverpool’s play. Congrats on earning a point.

      • Nate Dollars

that would probably hurt a little more if i was a liverpool fan.

  • ChrisTheLSUTiger

Why are we showing this goal and not the Newcastle goal from that game, which was just as good, if not better?

  • Edwin in LA

Wow people really hate Suarez….why? Because he dives and has gotten a bad rap for it? Or are people building a series of things they hate about him ever since that handball in South Africa? That is one helluva goal! Didn’t see the one Newcastle scored but the guy above says it was great, we’ll see lol

    • Good Jeremy

Mostly because of his racism, but also for the handball, continual diving, and poor attitude. But other than that he seems like a great guy.

      • PurpleGold

For me at least, that handball was one of the most heroic plays in the history of the game. Dude stops the ball KNOWING he’ll get red carded, based on the slight slight slight barely possible chance that his goalie might stop it or gyan will miss. And if he misses, they STILL have to go on and win in OT or a PSO. He knows if they win, they’ll play in the semi final, without him. Most unselfish, team oriented play I’ve seen in a long time. Racism blows though, and I don’t like him at all anymore because of that.

      • Michael Stypulkoski

I wouldn’t go so far as heroic, but I agree with the rest of what you say.

  • deepvalue

Luis gets hit so much because he creates so much danger. Unlike his teammates who can’t finish even when he sets them up on a platter. Looking at you Jonjo. Anfield should sing their own version of the Kingsmen’s “Luis Luis” to Suarez. Luis Luis, ohhh noooo – he scored a goal.

  • Paul

He got a cracker. That goes with all the posts and crossbars, and sundry missed chances, Luis has accumulated over the last few years. Definitely a great moment for Liverpool. Constantly underachieving. Enjoy your moment in the sun, lads.
