ManC and Ajax game highly entertaining so far. Good to see a few Americans on the field/bench today too!

  • Francois

Jermaine Jones is playing a little in front of Shalkes’ number 6, making a lot of runs forward. I’m glad he’s playing like a number 8 since that’s what Klinsman sees him as.

    • Francois

But that D-mid is horrendous! His back header set up the first goal, now he fails to mark Giroud on his goal. Smh

(Hey Ives, I don’t like this whole moderation thing btw. It realllllllllly throws off the flow of commenting in chronological order).

The Madrid-Dortmund match is electric, and Dortmund looking great and not at all nervous playing in Benabeu. Powerful strike by Marco Reus and an unbelievable acrobatic goal inside the box from Mario Gotze, with Lewandoski making great assists on both–and a powerful header from Pepe. This is a must-not-lose game for Madrid so second half should be entertaining.

  • Scott

Podolski gets a yellow, though i don’t blame him. Ref stops the game for a leg injury while he’s got time and space inside the 18.

  • Darwin

Kljestan was playing deep most of the game, but pops up making aggressive forward runs. He hit so many killer passes today. Definitely a diagonal ball specialist.

In other news Ibra assists on all 4 PSG goals.
