Andy Najar has become the latest MLS player to land a training stint overseas.

D.C. United announced Friday that Najar is currently training with Belgian club RSC Anderlecht through the end of 2012. Najar had recently been rumored to be joining the club for a training stint, but United had not addressed them until now.

“This is a good opportunity for Andy to continue training in the offseason and get another European training experience,” said D.C. United General Manager Dave Kasper in a statement released by the club.

There were no details as to when Najar began the training stint.

What do you think of Najar training with Anderlecht? Would you have preferred to see him train in a different league?
