Clint Dempsey and Tottenham are currently holding onto one of the Top Four spots in the English Premier League, but they face a tougher challenge this weekend than they might have expected when the EPL schedule first came out.
Stoke City is unbeaten in seven matches and will look to push that streak to eight when Geoff Cameron and the Potters visit White Hart Lane. Spurs are currently two points ahead of Arsenal for fourth place, but will need a win to avoid being caught.
In Italy, AS Roma take on AC Milan in what should be a high-flying affair. Milan has won four straight in league play, scoring three or more in each of the past three matches. Roma is coming off a disappointing loss to Chievo that saw their own four-match winning streak snapped.
In Spain, Malaga take on Real Madrid in a clash of top teams in La Liga. Real Madrid has all but given up hope of catching Barcelona for the league, but they will be looking to catch Atletico Madrid for second. Malaga is just five points behind Real Madrid and can put some pressure on the defending champions with a victory.

where was Dempsey today? I missed it but it says he wasn’t even on the bench.
Jozy is gone by seasons end
Must win for Newcastle. Not looking forward to the game at all, to be honest.
Man Alkmaars defense is poop.
That 1st goal was unlucky a bit they were getting pressured by AZ a lot, Jozy should have buried that chance to tie it tho…..would have been a totally different ball game, have to believe at the very least that 3rd goal doesn’t go in and AZ would still have been in the game..
If he wants to ever be an elite striker than yes he needs to bury that shot. Alkmaars defense is still poo. Maybe they should look into buying Lichaj for their RB spot because Alkmaars RB is just terrible.
How about edu at AZ?
Will gooch play vs Madrid?
