The Manchester Derby headlines a stacked weekend of soccer action across the globe.
Manchester United can put a hammer lock on first place in the English Premier League with a victory on Sunday against a Manchester City side that has yet to lose this season. City will also be at home for the contest, making a Red Devils victory that much tougher.
Serie A boasts one of the more intriguing match-ups of the weekend as Inter Milan take on Edinson Cavani and Napoli. Both teams have hopes of catching suddenly vulnerable Juventus, and a win for either would make them a strong contender for the top spot in Serie A.
College Soccer will also be on the forefront this weekend, with the NCAA Tournament semifinals on Friday and the College Cup Final slated for Sunday. Maryland is the favorite to win, but Creighton, Indiana and Georgetown all come in riding waves of momentum.

College Cup. I might get divorced this weekend, after she realizes the MLS Cup was not the end.
+1 LOL
GolTV goes off of millions of Comcast TVs next week. How about some coverage of the fact that beIN is running them out of business and making sure Americans can’t watch the Bundesliga?
+1, its already off of directv. beIN has destroyed GolTV. Lack of Bundesliga is not cool! Maybe FSC can pick that up once they lose everything else they have to nbc
Actually GOLTV is still on Direct TV on the Spanish Language package (at least for now). Best value: Go with the Spanish language package and you get almost all the soccer you want.
Are you sure? If so what channel is it because the old 425 or 426 that use to be GolTv in Spanish in now beIN in Spanish…. I know Fox Deportes is the other of the 425-426 duo
GolTV en español is on DirecTV channel 450 or thereabouts. However, the resolution is SD and almost unwatchable. Awful, horrendous really.
i had been but recently cancelled it due to comcast increasing their prices for my regular package AND the spanish package. the hell with them but at least i am not under contract. cable and satellite getting too expensive.
+1, I need my VfB Stuttgart fix.
anyone else get excited for a split second when they first visit the page and see the pics dont match up with the article headlines… Looked as if RVP was in the MLS re-entry draft.
There was a moment a few days back when the photo of Messi’s injury matched up with the headline about Carr’s ACL tear — scared the bejeezus out of me.
i do get that issue as well. Is it a firefox thing maybe? Hope they can fix it.
No, I see that mixed effect with IE on a PC, Win7.
