Paris St. Germain’s quest to become a world power and European champion will have to go through the top team in the world after the draw for the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals set up a dream tie between PSG and FC Barcelona.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic and PSG will take on Lionel Messi and Barcelona in one of the most intriguing match-ups chosen in the Round of Eight draw, which was held on Friday morning.
Juventus take on Bayern Munich in another enticing match-up as Andrea Pirlo and the Italian champions look to stop the team that has been in the best form in Europe.
Jose Mourinho will face a reunion against two of his former players in another quarterfinal as he and Real Madrid take on Didier Drogba, Wesley Sneijder and Galatasaray.
The remaining quarterfinal will see high-flying Borussia Dormtund take on young star striker Isco and Malaga.
What do you think of these match-ups? Who do you see progressing to the semifinals? Think PSG can eliminate Barcelona? Who do you see taking the Bayern-Juventus match-up?

want to see real madrid vs barcelona at the final of uefa champions league 2013
Ibra is suspended for the first leg isn’t he?
No Ibra? No chance.
should be some great games.
Smells like a setup for another clasico.
That is what I was thinking when I saw these draws, everything is set up nicely for a potential Clasico between Real Madrid and Barcelona. I had this belief before the tournament even started, the ratings would be very good. Not to say the other teams are unworthy Juventus, Bayern, Dortmund, and PSG are all talented teams.
PSG can beat Bacelona, they are a great team, great talent, let´s see.
Ibrahimovic is suspended for the first leg.
no
yeah but can any of these teams handle the physicality of the EPL??!?!! These teams would struggle to beat Stoke City on a cold night at Britiannia stadium!
Sorry I was evoking my inner Andy Gray..
+1
Agreed, those hard english tackles can’t be overcome nor the speed a physicality of the EPL!!
none of these teams would finish in the top half of EPL. They are soft and play a brand of soccer that does not translate outside of their sissy little borders. Short passes? Attacking through the middle of the park? Could never work in EPL, the most hardcore of leagues ever!
btw, this was sarcastic…
hilarious – some of the nonsense that comes out these old school British commentators sometimes was ridiculous
That said, I do miss his commentary and personality.
He is on fifa 13, if you miss him.
dear God please let Gooch start those 2 matches for Malaga
You don’t think, therefor you are not.
the return of the Zlatan.
Do we know which pairings will meet in the semifinals yet? Has the bracket come out?
I think they’re doing it after the QFs this year. Dortmund-Malaga should be a good one. One is a power through its position in the community, one has billions of dollars of backing. Also, Dortmund are quite possibly the side Barca claim to be. Good in possession, and interesting to watch .
seriously? Barca are not interesting to watch? wow.
