Though they have a 13 point lead ahead of Real Madrid in La Liga, Barcelona assistant coach Jordi Roura says that they can’t any matches off until the title is clinched.

The Catalonian side is set to play next Tuesday against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, but before that Barcelona have a league match to worry about, when they face Levante at home on Saturday.

“We still have nine points and try to win sooner rather than later,” Roura said to Spanish publication Marca. “Though Levante has not had good results lately, that’s a good team. They have nothing to lose and are very dangerous.”

Lionel Messi has been rumored to make a return to action in Saturday’s match, but Roura all but ruled it out, confirming Barcelona won’t play an injured player.

  1. Why wouldn’t Suarez be nominated? Bale is the biggest diver in the EPL and his name is on the list. That makes just about everybody eligible.

  2. Michael Carrick is in the final 6 for best player in the EPL?

Danny Welbeck is in the final 6 for best young player in the EPL?

Oh my god my sides hurt so bad from laughing. The Manchester United bias has reached insane levels. How in the world is Danny Welbeck a young player (or Gareth Bale who is also listed) when this is his 4th first team season with United and that’s excluding his loan to Sunderland.

    • Carrick I can see young Danny isnt there yet. Great workrate but how hes ahead of hernandez and Rooney is beyond me. I thought for awhile that he was being fattened up for a sale but who knows.

How he took mins off Berba last year I will never understand.
