Two teams that registered important victories this past weekend were Aston Villa and the Portland Timbers and two players who were key to those wins were Brad Guzan and Will Johnson, who are the special guests for Episode 23 of The SBI Show.
Guzan and Villa recorded a much-needed win against Stoke City to climb out of the relegation zone in the English Premier League, while Johnson and the Timbers registered their first win of the season with a convincing win against the Dynamo.
Guzan and Johnson join us and talk about their recent victories, their impressive seasons and much more. Guzan talks about the recent USMNT qualifiers, including the snow storm in Colorado. Johnson talks to us about his move to Portland, and how things have been since joining the Timbers from Real Salt Lake.
Co-host Garrett Cleverly and I also take time to discuss the latest on Americans Abroad, as well as looking back at MLS Week Six.
