With David Beckham calling it a career, what better way to remember him than to look back at his specialty, the free kick goal.

Famous for his ability to strike a free kick like few in the history of the game, Beckham delivered goal after goal using technique that could be seen in him at a very young age.

Here is a video with all of the free kick goals he scored during his prestigious club career:

  1. Amazing how many varieties of free kick there are, too: the bender, the dip, the rocket, the knuckleball…
If his crosses/assists were included, this video would be an hour long. (And sweet Lord, just think of all the crappy Brit-house songs you’d have to listen to!)

  2. My favorites are the ones when he goes far post (from right to left) and the keepers are expecting the near post strike. They are usually statues.

Guy is the best free-kick taker of all time.

  3. No one can convince me that Juninho was better than Beckham. No doubt Juninho was an excellent free kick taker as well, especially from a longer range out – where he was better than Beckham. But, Beckham’s free kicks were king.

  4. that was awesome! must-see video for my son and all aspiring free-kick takers

one I didn’t see in there–didn’t he sneak a corner in vs. Metapan in the CL too?

  5. while the upper 90 free kick is aesthetically more pleasing to the eye, the lower 90 is more lethal (especially on wet grass).

  6. what’s amazing is that he won like 20 caps all while playing in MLS. That’s gotta say something. Heck Henry could probably still start for France since Benzema can’t do anything for them
